Nerf has a ton of little pistols coming out, but nothing really spectacular.
More after the big drop:
First off is the Dual-Strike EX-6.
This is a rather large pistol, about the size of a Magnus, but with a rear priming handle and a mounting point for scopes and sights.
The "dual" part of the name comes from the fact that it can handle both Micro and Jumbo (2012 MEGA) calibers, 3 darts of each.
It's slightly gimmicky, but not really. I'm considering getting one to chop up and insert the air-feed system into a semi-auto homemade.
On to the next blasters.
On top is the Crosscut EX-2.
This looks like a Nitefinder/Doublestrike crossbreed with a plastic circular-saw blade attached. Big whoop. Pretend you're chopping your friends up.
Recon Mk. II
Huh? Isn't that the Retaliator, reshelled?
The stock appears to be a cross between the Retaliator's awkwardly short stock and the Demolisher's painfully narrow stock, with all the bad parts. Ditch the stock.
The barrel appears to be a variant of the Modulus barrel-extension, although there's a chance that it's not detachable.
In short, this blaster looks like the M6 (Magnum) from the Halo series.
Hmm, perhaps Johnson Arms might be interested in this?
Anyway, this thing gives off more of a Master Chief-grade badass aura than the BoomCo brand Magnum.
Finally, we have the Ion Fire.
Ok, this is a Modulus-themed Sharpfire, with proper barrel-extension mount and stock. Perhaps the Sharpfire was the demo version?
Meh.
Out of all of these, I'd like the Recon Mk 2 and the Dual Strike.
